In Leadership Theory and Practice, our final paper was an analysis of three leaders we admire as well as an overview of our own leadership philosophy. This project was fun because I got to interview leaders who have shaped me for years: the presiding president of our fraternity, my former youth minister, and my former boss at summer camp. It was exciting to see my friends through that different lens.
Houston History
My fascination with the city of Houston lead me to course outlining the history of the city since its inception. For my final assignment, I chose to explore the history of the Christ Church Cathedral in downtown. I'm familiar with the building because its a part of the Episcopal church, but this project was eye-opening for me.
Literature and Psychoanalysis
This course was by far one of my more challenging classes that I've taken. I chose to write on the novel "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov and received one of my best scores on an honors paper. The subject matter is difficult to work with, so this piece definitely stretched me in new ways.
